Blog Search Engine

There should be a blogger search engine that allows you to search based on category and topic of interest. I do not know who would do it or how, but I do know that I would be on it like all the time. If one exists I have yet to find it, and blogger's "Next Blog" button up top usually leads me to blogs made by stay at home moms that think their children and families are the most interesting things in the world. Now I'm not bagging on families and children, but it's just not what I want to read about.
